Our motto is, ”To do something is better than nothing at all,” and here's what we offer: A non-traditional approach to substance abuse abatement based on the idea that using is as much a choice as it is a disease and that -- if taught how to -- users can make different choices that can have permanent positive effects in their lives, rather than positive effects that last only one day at a time.

Referrals and placement: With a national listing of drug and alcohol recovery resources, we can provide you with the latest information on treatment and intervention. Phone calls are free. Take advantage of our 24 hour phone service. Educational presentations: One and a half hour PowerPoint presentations covering a wide variety of topics suitable for all audiences. Home consulting: Two member teams meet with family members searching for help with drug/alcohol problems. Intervention is based on a social/educational method of recovery. Workshops:Usually a working lunch (you provide the lunch) with a predetermined topic and open forum discussion. Valley Retreat: A secluded lodge nestled in the foothills of Cheaha Mountain and surrounded by the Talladega National Forest, Valley Retreat offers six-week programs year round to willing participants seeking an alternative to traditional methods of substance abuse treatment and recovery. If isolation and quiet along with many learning experiences in a summer-camp like environment is what you are looking for then Valley Retreat is the perfect setting for a life changing experience.
