CHEER! is a unique counseling center located in East Tampa, near Brandon. We aim to provide services unavailable or under-represented in the community.

Better Therapy

Traditionally, a counselor acts as a benefactor, making decisions about the therapy process. We make you an active part of the therapy process. We'll work with you as a team, instead of making decisions for you.

We use a holistic approach, realizing that you're just one part of the big picture. Your family and friends affect your recovery. We work to improve your relationships with them, and they are welcome as part of your team.

At CHEER!, we treat a variety of issues. Whether you're depressed, family to a disabled individual or just need someone to talk to, we're available to you. Please see our services or contact us for a better idea of how we can help you.

Better Service

We consider you as welcome guests, rather than patients, and will put out the red carpet for you! Have a cup of coffee or tea and relax in our bookstore. We answer our phone, return calls and reply to e-mails promptly. We make it convenient to do business with us by providing clients access to their own scheduling information through this website or over the phone. Credit cards, checks, cash and money orders are accepted.

Preliminary paperwork is done online, giving us a better understanding of your issues before you come in for your assessment, and allowing a faster turnaround. Evaluations are complete and give a full view of overall functioning including anger management, substance abuse, parenting and relationship issues, and mental health.

If your insurance company will pay out of network, we will accept your insurance. You will only owe your normal co-pay.
