He is trained and licensed to prescribe FDA approved medications and use the latest medical treatments and protocols that correct the biochemical imbalances that occur with addiction. He is specialty trained and has earned a special waiver from the FDA and Department of Justice allowing him to treat opiate addiction using Suboxone and Subutex (buprenorphine).
