Morningside Recovery is dedicated to providing exceptional care for all dually diagnosed alcohol and drug addicted adult men and women who are on the path to recovery. We believe that each person can recover from the disease of addiction while learning how to cope with a psychiatric or emotional illness, and we are committed to helping each individual achieve this goal.

We believe in providing the highest level of care in an intimate, tranquil setting. There is no better place in the country to achieve this than in Newport Beach, California.

Morningside is a small facility that focuses on the individual recovery needs of each client. We understand that every client who enters our program comes by a different set of circumstances and different needs; it is for this reason that each individual is assessed by our clinical director and given a personal treatment plan based on that assessment. And as completion nears, an in-depth aftercare plan is formulated.

Our groups and lectures are gender specific including educational sessions, process groups, therapy groups and meetings. Our clients are encouraged to slowly reintegrate themselves into school or work, to spend time at the gym almost every day, and a group with a spiritual advisor is offered, as it is our belief that addiction is a disease of the mind, body and soul.

All of our case managers are highly qualified to work with their clients on a variety of issues. During their stay with us, each client sees their case manager at least once a week for a one-on-one counseling session. One-on-one counseling sessions with a skilled professional give the clients an opportunity to express anything they may be feeling, to discuss any issues they may be having, and to work through the past in a safe, comfortable and private environment.

Every staff member of Morningside Recovery is available to our clients and their families as needed. Everyone from myself to your loved one’s house manager is just a phone call away. We pride ourselves on maintaining close personal contact with everyone as the road to recovery is traveled. We recognize this time as one of difficult transition for the families and all involved.
